Profile: Pastor Eshem is 46 years old. He is married to Medina, and they have been blessed with 4 children, 3 boys and a girl. They also care for his sister’s orphaned child. He completed high school. His hobby is soccer.
Ministry: Pastor Eshem is ministering in the Mzarabani area and has been pastoring Restoration Centre Kingdom Community Church since 2023. He uses the Foundations for Farming method to help his congregation to be self-sufficient and they also run a gardening project to raise funds.
Testimony: “I am see the power of God in the lives of my congregation and from the training I get from Foundations for Farming.”
Overview: Zimbabwe, has a population of approximately 11m. There are serious food shortages, huge shrinkage of the economy and a complete collapse of the local currency. There is 90% unemployment & health & education are in a parlous state. Water & power shortages are an ongoing problem. There has been a huge loss of life and hardship caused by the AIDS & cholera pandemics, with over 2 million orphaned. (In 2019) The country has once again gone back to using its own currency, after 10 years of trading in US$ and SA Rand and inflation is beginning to spiral out of control.
In spite of (or because of?) this, many churches are flourishing- & people are turning to God
